Unique Tuscan villages to Love - Download a free travel guide to the 51 certified Tuscan villages

It has recently been made available a free travel guide by Toscana Promozione Turistica, in Italian and English, about 51 Tuscan villages certified in the Borghi più Belli D'Italia, Paesi Bandiera Arancione, Mibact's Gioielli d'Italia and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The volume, edited by Claudio Bacillieri, director in chief for Borghi Magazine, accompany the reader along an impressive 68 page journey through itineraries, routes and paths among towns full of art, history, food and wine.

"Along debate is currently open about sustainable tourism and exploitation of territories as a thrust towards economic recovery. Tourism works when combined with culture, because well-informed tourists nowadays are specifically asking to be able to live, in the places they travel to, an experience different from the one they normally have in everyday life. Travellers want to be surprised and amazed, rediscover themselves when confronting Elsewhere."

Toscana Borghi da amare

With these words the author opens the introduction to the volume in which is described the history of this region, how its villages are born, their certifications, their natural, architectural, artistic and enogastronomic excellence and wonders.

The Tuscan villages covered in the guide, which will in future have an insight card on the Borghi Magazine site, are as follows:
