The Church of Santa Lucia è a hidden gem located in Catabbio, a hamlet of Semproniano. Located on the ancient hill of Scalabrelli, this church offers breathtaking views of the Fiora Valley and the Maremma.
Featuring a plastered facade with a simple portal and a huge rectangular window, the Church of Santa Lucia boasts a 97-square-meter interior with two arches supporting the roof. Three marble altars enrich the interior, dedicated to St. Lucy, Our Lady of Sorrows and St. Blaise, each with their respective sacred images.
The building also preserves a valuable historical element: a travertine stoup dating back to 1574. A cusped bell tower, which houses two bells, completes the structure.
