In the locality of Cavapietre, 1 km from the town along the provincial road, in a panoramic place from which it is possible to admire the entire Tammaro valley and the Matese Massif, stands the Gateway to the World, a monument dedicated to the people of Chercia in the world: a bronze door that opens onto a globe also made of bronze. Next to it è a stone boulder has been placed on which è a plaque is affixed each year commemorating a person from Chercia who has distinguished himself or herself in the world for merits. In front of this area, close to the pine forest, stands a small playground as well as a more articulated fitness area.
