Sicily

Sicily is an ancient region that benefits from remote historical contamination: from the Greeks to the Phoenicians, via the Romans and Carthaginians, the largest island in the Mediterranean Sea has a millennial past to tell, which emerges in every corner of the region, whose nature is mostly wild and dry. There are many Sicilian villages, some sinuously perched inland, such as Aidone, Sambuca di Sicilia, Montalbano Elicona or Sutera, others along the coast, such as Levanzo, Milazzo, Marzameni or Santa Flavia. The sea is an enchantment and the rocky coves are real postcards.
