Description

Fior di Capra Spreadable is a refined fresh cheese made from pasteurised goat’s milk, characterised by an extremely creamy texture and a delicate flavour that combines sweetness with pleasant tangy notes. Inspired by the French cheese-making tradition, it is produced through a slow lactic fermentation lasting around 24 hours, a process that enhances its soft texture and aromatic elegance.

Made with just a few selected ingredients – fresh goat’s milk, lactic cultures, salt and a minimal amount of rennet – it is a genuine and versatile product, ideal both for eating on its own and for use in numerous culinary preparations.

Production

The slow lactic fermentation, which takes around 24 hours, allows the typical aromatic freshness and soft texture that characterise this cheese to develop naturally. The result is a firm yet easily spreadable cream with a balanced and refined flavour.

Tasting Notes

On the nose, it reveals delicate lactic aromas and light herbaceous notes typical of fresh goat’s milk. On the palate, it is smooth, velvety and pleasantly fresh, with an initial sweetness that gives way to a delicate hint of acidity on the finish.
