Selva Onion Festival 2026

From 13 to 15 August 2026, the hamlet of Selva, in the municipality of Santa Fiora, will host the traditional Selva Onion Festival, an event celebrating one of the most iconic agricultural products of the Amiata region.

For three days, the Circolo di Selva becomes the heart of the festival, where the focus is on the authentic flavours of local cuisine and, of course, the Selva Onion, the signature ingredient of numerous traditional Maremma recipes. The food stalls offer dishes prepared with this local speciality, showcasing its delicate flavour and quality, alongside other Tuscan culinary specialities.

Organised by the Selva Cultural Association, the event is a time for socialising and conviviality that involves the whole community. Alongside the tastings, there is no shortage of music, entertainment and opportunities to spend pleasant summer evenings immersed in the authentic atmosphere of one of Monte Amiata’s most picturesque villages.
