Il Tenero
A goat’s cheese with a soft and delicate texture
Description
The “Tenero” from Azienda Agricola Natalina is a medium-aged goat’s cheese that captivates with its delicacy and perfect balance of creaminess, freshness and aroma. Made from goat’s milk and produced according to traditional methods, it is matured on pinewood boards, a technique that helps develop elegant aromas and a distinctive character.
Its soft texture and unique development during maturing result in a refined, sweet and slightly tangy flavour, typical of the finest artisanal goat’s cheeses.
Production
Maturing takes place on traditional pinewood planks, which promote the proper development of the rind and contribute to the cheese’s aromatic characteristics.
During maturing, the cheese retains a pleasant softness, whilst the aromas become progressively more complex without losing their freshness and elegance.
Tasting Notes
Visually, it has a rough rind with a characteristic pinkish-yellow colour.
On the nose, it offers delicate and harmonious aromas, with light lactic notes and nuances typical of goat’s milk.
On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, with a sweet flavour balanced by a pleasant hint of acidity that lends freshness and character to the cheese.
