The association Alcara Borgo Natura led by Fabio Zaiti, wins the Contest among the most beautiful villages of 2023 in Sicilia. Now in its second edition, which saw the participation of over 28 municipalities of the Borghi dei Tesori network. The goal is to relaunch the urban territory, and the many artistic-cultural projects involving an entire community.
Alcara Li Fusi, won with pride and pride, typical of the Nebroid territory, enhancing the natural beauty of the landscape and culture. The association Alcara Borgo Natura, the educational nature trail of the Grifone di Alcara Li Fusi, was ranked in first place, compared to the project presented by the association Sun Sicani Bivona.
Zaiti’s project aims to improve the use of the Rocche del Crasto, where it highlights a particular bird of prey among the largest birds in Europe, with its wingspan of over three meters. The project sees the installation of a terrestrial telescope in front of the Rocche del Crasto. An educational trail of about 300 meters, with different and indicative signs, which are intended to clearly guide the many visitors.
