Campione is the perfect destination for water sports enthusiasts but it is also rich in culture and curiosities to discover wandering through its streets and monuments. Situated on the delta of the S. Michele torrent, the Campione peninsula was home to various industries: paper mills, forges, mills and spinning mills. After the closure of the cotton mill in 1981, Campione became a tourist destination thanks to its enviable position.
