The small Church joins laterally the imposing complex of the Castle of Montorgiali. The original building dates back to the Middle Ages but in the course of the Eighteenth Century has undergone radical rearrangements. The single internal hall presents the main altar and the four side made of plaster and stucco with a certain accuracy according stylistic elements from late baroque. It should be noted two paintings of the sienese school of the first half of the XVII century: the birth of the Virgin and the Madonna with Child and St Joseph in glory.
One of the most important works of the church is the processional standard, attributed to Alessandro Casolani, that for reasons of conservation was transferred to Pitigliano in the Diocesan Museum. Elegant workmanship are the holy water stoup shank and the candlestick for the paschal candle in the apse, both XVIII C.
