A magnificent 65-million-year-old canyon with typical layered rocks to be visited in summer to enjoy its magnificent colours and seek some relief from the heat, or in winter to admire the beautiful icefalls.
The route, well signposted with the number 2315, is 5km long and winds in a loop starting from the infopoint. It is a mountain path that is not particularly difficult but should be tackled with the appropriate equipment in any season.
Periodically, mountain guides and local associations organise guided tours to discover the canyon also from a historical, geological and naturalistic point of view.
