The Gabriele d’Annunzio Literary Park is the only literary park of Abruzzi Region. Between Anversa degli Abruzzi and Gabriele d’Annunzio there is a deep bond, consecrated in the famous tragedy ‘La fiaccola sul Moggio’.

The work, written in 1904 and by the poet defined “perfect among my tragedies”, is set right in the small village of Anversa, between the walls of the “old house of the Sangro”, and was represented for the first time on 27 March 1905 at the Manzoni Theater in Milan.

The activities of the Literary Park is carried out mainly in the summer with poetic walks, recitations in the corners of the country, poetry recitals, cultural meetings, presentations of books, concerts of classical music.
