Its proximity to the Ionian Sea, with which it is separated by less than 10 kilometers, and to the Silan massif, only 15 kilometers away, makes Sersale an ideal place for those wishing to explore the wonders of Calabria.
The village is located along the slope of Mount Angaro, looking south, in a sunny and easily accessible area. Its historic architecture, characterized by an irregular, layered urban fabric, unfolds through narrow, winding streets, the famous "vinelle," that climb the sides of the hill. Inside, the stucco and scagliola altar houses a statue of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, patron saint of the town, along with another valuable marble statue dating from the 1600s.
