Divided into numerous hamlets, the most beautiful balcony of the Murgia dei Trulli, is characterized by a particular circular plan from which the name derives, round place from the Latin Locus Rotundus. The ancient heart of the town is a truly unique place capable of exercising out of the ordinary suggestions and charm. From its belvedere you can admire an exciting territory: a mosaic of small vineyards marked by dry stone walls, patches of Mediterranean forest and silvery olive groves surrounding ancient farms, thousands of trulli scattered in the districts.
