After a series of successes, the last educational tour organised by Italia Incoming è was the crowning achievement of an exciting year. Italia Incoming, under the patronage of FITAC, the Italian Federation of Associative and Cooperative Tourism, organises weekly educational tours and workshops for Cral and association presidents, journalists and tourism bloggers. The latest Eductour was therefore extraordinary. The last Eductour took place in Apulia thanks to the “Rete A Sud Est”, a group of companies that created an association to enhance the beauty of the tourist area south-east of Bari and promote the local economy through a tourism that pays attention to people and places.
«A fantastic experience,” said Daniele Lettina, national coordinator of Italia Incoming, who was a guest of the educational event together with other buyers from many Italian regions. “During the four days we stayed in excellent B&Bs and visited old farms ready to host groups and families. In close contact with the territory and its wonderful places, Katia, the tour guide of the network, gave us an authentic experience in her own land: from Polignano a Mare, the town of Domenico Modugno, to the fishing port of Mola di Bari, from the old town of Conversano to Monopoli city, to conclude the tour with Locorotondo and Alberobello, world heritage sites. Enthusiasm also from the Apulian incoming.Silvio Deodato Fanelli, President of the Network, pointed out that the educational tour represents «a great opportunity for the companies of the Network. In fact, this experience aims to promote our Tourist District to those guest presidents who, once back home, will be the first ambassadors and promoters towards their members. This favours the growth of the project linked to return tourism, a project to which our tour operators Tipica and Teo Viaggi have also adhered through the creation of specific dedicated packages.
President Fanelli will soon meet with the board of Italia Incoming to plan a collaboration, each in favour of its members.
