Varenna, stroll on the lake

A fishing village that retains all its ancient beauty, Varenna is located on the Lecco branch of Lake Como. Its historic center is a real suggestion with its maze of alleys among the pastel-colored houses. Among the most special places in Varenna there is also the “Lovers Walk”, a romantic walkway over the lake, partly suspended over the water, one of the most evocative places on Lake Como. Just above the village of Varenna is the Vezio Castle, with its inspiring atmospheres that can also be reached with a walk in nature.

Bellagio, the pearl of Lake Como

Bellagio is one of the most famous villages of Lake Como. Elegant and refined, it is located on the extreme tip of the promontory that separates the two branches of the lake. An exceptional location that also offers a mild climate all year round. Here there are some of the beautiful historic villas of Lake Como. Among the most famous is Villa Melzi and Villa Serbelloni, with their wonderful gardens. And you can also discover Bellagio at the table or shopping in the streets of the historic center. An expression of elegance is Villa Carlotta in Tremezzo, a precious artistic jewel also famous for its gardens. Tremezzina is now also known for the Green Way, the green way of Lake Como, a 10-kilometer path for everyone to do on foot or by bicycle, which unites different villages in the municipality and 70 points of interest.

Menaggio: history, nature and sport

Menaggio is one of the most important centers on the western shore of Lake Como. In addition to Menaggio, the three villages of Croce, Loveno and Nobiallo are part of it.
