Ascolana Olive Festival 2026
Event description
On 7 August 2026, the 51st Ascolana Olive Festival returns to Monteprandone, in the heart of the Piceno region, marking one of the most eagerly awaited culinary events of the summer in the Marche. Set against the backdrop of the “Il Boschetto” Public Park, four evenings will celebrate one of the iconic products of Ascoli’s cuisine, featuring authentic flavours, live music and a real sense of community.
The undisputed star of the event is the ‘Oliva all’Ascolana’, prepared strictly by hand according to the traditional recipe: green olives stuffed with a tender filling of selected meats, breaded and deep-fried until they achieve their characteristic golden colour. Alongside this culinary gem, the stalls will offer numerous local specialities, taking visitors on an authentic journey through the flavours of the region.
The event kicks off on Friday 7 August with a concert by I Pupazzi – Live Music & Fun, who are set to set the evening alight with a show brimming with music, energy and fun. Over the following days, the programme continues with entertainment, performances and moments of conviviality, making the festival an ideal event for families, groups of friends and lovers of good food.
Now in its 51st edition, the Ascolana Olive Festival is an event that combines culinary tradition, local culture and community spirit, celebrating one of the Marche region’s most iconic products in a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
