Castroreale Jazz Festival 2026
Event description
The Castroreale Jazz Festival, one of Sicily’s most prestigious jazz festivals, returns in 2026. Since 2001, it has been bringing leading Italian and international artists to the splendid village of Castroreale, in the province of Messina, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages in Italy.
The 2026 edition will take place on the evenings of 26, 30 and 31 July, transforming Piazza Pertini into an elegant open-air stage where the charm of jazz music meets the timeless beauty of the historic centre. An event that attracts enthusiasts from all over Sicily and beyond every summer, offering three evenings of great music under the stars.
The festival will kick off on Sunday 26 July, at 9.30 pm, with a concert by the Manna Trio, a group offering a refined jazz repertoire that blends tradition with musical innovation.
On Thursday 30 July, Roy Paci will take to the stage with his Jazz Quintet; he is one of Italy’s most acclaimed artists for his ability to blend jazz, Mediterranean sounds and international influences in a performance brimming with energy and improvisation.
The event will conclude on Friday 31 July with a concert by Stefano Di Battista, the driving force behind the “La Dolce Vita Quintet” project, which pays tribute to the great soundtracks of Italian cinema through the elegant and captivating language of contemporary jazz.
The Castroreale Jazz Festival is much more than just a music festival: it is an opportunity to experience one of Sicily’s most picturesque villages, to stroll through its narrow streets, squares and historic monuments, and to be captivated by a unique atmosphere where culture, music and artistic heritage blend into an unforgettable experience.
