The Church of Carmel, located in the heart of the historic center of Gavoi, was built during the 17th century in Aragonese Gothic style. The rather small building has a rectangular floor plan with a single nave. Tall semicircular windows open along the side walls.
The graceful masonry facade is concluded at the top by a characteristic curved pediment, which houses a small bell gable. In the center of the facade is the wooden front door, surmounted by an elegant circular rose window.
