Completed in 1659 in the walled part, the Church of San Francesco in Bene Vagienna preserves precious stucco work by the Luganese Beltramelli brothers. The temple is rich in altars that were the patronage of Bene Vagienna patrician families. In the chapel to the left of the high altar are preserved in a crystal urn the remains of the blessed Countess Paola Gambara Costa.
