Built around 1600, when the Italo-Albanians arrived in the Sermento Valley and settled there, bringing with them customs and traditions, as well as rituals.
Composed of a typical Latin structure, the parish church has been renovated with typical Byzantine elements.
Mass is said only in the Orthodox rite.
