In the ancient oak grove wanted by San Giacomo della Marca, then used for the construction of the railway line that involves the station of Centobuchi, only one plant remained, which lost its foliage due to lightning, ran in 1975.
Inexplicably a cypress tree came to life from that trunk; everyone attributes this event to the will of the Saint. The trunk, exposed in a green area adjacent to the Sanctuary, is further evidence of the vast oak grove that surrounded the entire convent area.
