The wedding of the year between Indian VIPs Anushka Sharma, a Bollywood actress, and the captain of the national cricket team Virat Kohli, will be held on December 13th. The wedding will be celebrated, in Punjabi style, in Tuscany at “Borgo Finocchieto”, the exclusive resort that occupies a 13th century village not far from Buonconvento.
Borgo Finocchieto is a location well known among international VIPs. In fact, last spring, the structure hosted the Obama family during their holidays in Italy.
Purchased in 2001 by former American Ambassador John Phillips, the village has undergone eight years of restoration and, with its five villas, is today one of the most luxurious hotel complexes in the world.
