The Alp of Pampeago (1.750 mt.) was the arrival of stage of the fifth Giro d’Italia. Ideal destination for the two wheels, is the only step dolomitic asphalted and closed to traffic. From Pampeago accesses the ski carousel of the Ski Center Latemar with 49 km of ski runs and a snowboard park. Pampeago is reached from Tesero with 15 minutes by car or shuttle bus. You can park your car at the start of the chairlifts Latemar and lamb in a quiet valley surrounded by conifers, with two hotels, few houses, three ski rentals, sportswear shop, 3 bars and a ski school.
RespirArt is one of the highest Parks of Art in the world. Winds among the shares 2,000 and 2,200 at Pampeago, in Fiemme valley, between the Trentino Dolomites. Artistic installations along a looped path of three kilometers. The works created by artists of international fame, dialog with the Dolomite pinnacles of the Latemar, declared by the Unesco Natural Heritage of Humanity. Some of these are also visible in the winter from the ski slope lamb of the Ski Center Latemar.
The renowned tourist resort Pampeago opens at two naturalistic areas of considerable merit: Latemarium (reachable by chairlift Latemar), with amazing theme trails inspired in the Dolomites and Latemar.Art (reachable on foot or with the chairlift lamb every Wednesday and Thursday), with the Park of art RespirArt and all its activities in nature.
From the parking lot of Pampeago, chairlift Lamb leads in Parco d’Art, every day until 10 September (opening hours: 8:30-13, 14.15-17.30). To reach RespirArt walk, you can park in front of the station of the chairlift The Tresca Pampeago. Then, take on foot the waymark 514 in direction Baita Caserina.
The Park of art is always open and accessible to all free of charge, from spring to autumn. The ring-route is about 3 km long and presents short uphill stretches or steep descent.
