The settlement of the Jewish community took place after the second half of the XVI century in Pitigliano, under the protection of the Orsini counts. Its construction dates back to 1598. The sacred building is located in the zone of the ancient Jewish ghetto of Pitigliano, which is characterized by narrow alleys and arcs very suggestive. The Synagogue and the adjoining Museum can be visited every day (except Saturday).
