The Ritual Bread Museum of Salemi was born with the intention of making known the importance and the traditions linked to the bread. In Sicily all festivities were celebrated with bread, with different productions in village after village, some forms finely worked, other very simple but all full of meaning. The museum is divided into two sections: loaves of salemitana tradition and the loaves of Sicilian tradition, for a total of approximately 1,000 forms.
