The small circular chapel, founded in the Middle Ages, is one of the community’s most beloved places. It is situated at the highest point of the village and dedicated to Santa Agnese Segni da Montepulciano, to whom the Procenese have always been extremely devoted. It was built in 1872, in the exact position where her convent once stood. Next to the small church is the Sacred Garden in which Proceno’s patron saint received the Sacrament from an Angel of the Lord.
