Lake Fraturno and Lake Marraone are two marvellous lakes of karstic origin that are particularly important from a landscape point of view, but above all from an ecological point of view, so much so that they are protected as an integral reserve as wetlands of international importance. Their waters are rich in biodiversity and are home to many reptiles and amphibians.
