In Corso Mazzini 10, September 4, 1788 born one of the best Italian engravers, Samuele Jesi, known above all for the engraving of Agar’s repudiation, by Guercino’s painting, for Leo X. The decorated ceilings have been restored in their original splendor on which stand out two sepia-colored medallions depicting castles from the area, dating back to the 18th century and the original parquet of Sala Jesi, inlaid by hand with various soft fruit woods.
Jesi Palace is part of the FAI, a non-profit institution founded in 1975, on the model of the National Trust, in order to protect and enhance the Italian historical, artistic and landscape heritage.
