The Sentiero della Civiltà Contadina is an open-air museum in the municipality of Bova, capital of the Grecanica area of Calabria, designed and created by Saverio Micheletta.
It is a path that winds through the alleys of the ancient village where the main working tools of the peasant culture have been installed: water mills and manual traction mills, presses and presses of the mill, drinking troughs for animals, mills to press the grapes, presses to extract the essence of bergamot and many other objects belonging to the ancient agricultural civilization.
The Path of Peasant Civilization is a journey into the personal history of a man and, at the same time, into the collective culture of a territory. It is the enhancement of an ancient village that has resisted the invasions of foreign populations, natural disasters, the upheavals of modernity over the centuries and which continues with pride and pride to represent an excellence of Calabria and the whole country.
