Rolle

Positioned on the hills crossed by the Prosecco road that connects Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, Rolle became the first Italian village protected by the Italian Environmental Fund in 2004.
A small rural village located south of Cison di Valmarino, defined by the Italian poet Andrea Zanzotto "a postcard sent from the gods", for its territory rich in splendid hills that has nothing to envy to the Tuscan hinterland.

From the town square you can enjoy a breathtaking view and what we cannot miss is the small church dedicated to San Giacomo and San Filippo, located in the center of the village, on a rise that can be reached via a staircase. It is a building of very ancient origin, whose current shape is due to the renovations of the eighteenth century. The gabled façade, facing west on the valley in front, is open only by a rectangular portal and a rose window and inside the church there are works by Egidio Dall'Oglio. To the right of the church stands the bell tower, characterized by a pointed spire and open, at the level of the bell cell, by a serliana on each side.

The village of Rolle is an ideal destination for cycle tourism, for walks and for the suggestive views that make it a popular destination for motorcyclists. In fact, in a few kilometers it is possible to reach San Pietro di Feletto, Refrontolo, Arfanta, Corbanese, Conegliano and Sarano or artistic treasures such as the Croda windmill, the Follina Abbey, the Conegliano castle, the Cison di Valmarino castle, the Caves del Caglieron of Vittorio Veneto and the cellars of Valdobbiadene.
