Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry
Versatile and refined, it is ideal as an aperitif and pairs perfectly with a full meal
Description
Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore DOCG Extra Dry – Col Candùt is produced in the heart of the Conegliano Valdobbiadene hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, from vineyards situated between San Pietro di Feletto and Solighetto. This Prosecco Superiore has its roots in the history of the region, reviving the ancient place name “Vigna a Ronco”, documented as early as the beginning of the 19th century.
Produced exclusively from 100% Glera grapes, it represents a perfect balance between tradition, elegance and territorial identity. The morainic hills of clay and limestone origin, combined with the favourable exposure and temperate climate of the area, allow for the production of a wine of great aromatic finesse and extraordinary pleasantness.
Vinification
The grapes undergo soft pressing and controlled fermentation on the lees. The wine is aged in steel tanks for at least 90 days before the second fermentation using the traditional Martinotti-Charmat method, which lends elegance and finesse to the perlage.
Tasting Notes
Visually, it presents a brilliant straw-yellow colour with a fine, elegant and persistent perlage.
The bouquet is rich and refined, with aromas of apple, pear and light spicy notes that blend harmoniously with delicate floral hints.
On the palate, it captivates with its balanced structure, pleasant freshness and marked savouriness. The bubbles are fine and persistent, never intrusive, whilst the finish is harmonious, elegant and particularly satisfying.
