Fun on skis, the flavors of great cuisine in the mountain huts, the charm of the Dolomites, and the allure of nighttime: the Val di Fiemme – Obereggen ski resort is gearing up for a new winter with its 110 kilometers of slopes and many new features, including parallel challenges in Obereggen with SkiMovie
One hundred and ten kilometers of slopes, designed in the presence of the Unesco World Heritage Dolomites, surrounded by the precious forests of the Lagorai, encompassing five different Ski Areas united in a single context always full of novelty, where the great cuisine guaranteed by the mountain huts and the high altitude venues embraces the possibility of skiing in a unique and increasingly modern context.
An unparalleled stage to enjoy skiing on winter days and to savor until the last second of the opportunity to ride at night the famous Olimpia of Alpe Cermis or the Obereggen slope of the Ski Center Latemar: these are the suggestions that the Val di Fiemme – Obereggen Ski Area knows how to give, together with the rich offer of refuges and restaurants at high altitude, at the edge of the slope, where you can take a break made of the tastes and flavors of tradition and gourmet cuisine.
The Val di Fiemme – Obereggen Ski Area is getting ready to open the dances of winter with several novelties, spread over the five l of the territory: the Ski Center Latemar, Alpe Cermis, Bellamonte – Alpe Lusia, Passo Rolle and Passo Lavazé – Passo Oclini.
Five areas connected by a single ski pass and able to offer unparalleled cues in terms of slopes, setting and taste by being able to count on an area that includes the Dolomite massif of Latemar, the striking Lagorai chain, the charm of Alpe Lusia, the majesty of the Pale di San Martino overlooking Passo Rolle and the harmony between alpine and cross-country skiing enhanced by the tracks of the Lavazé Plateau and Passo Oclini.
Ski Center Latemar
There are many new features offered for winter 2023/24 by the Ski Center Latemar, starting with the thorough renovation of the lifts that guarantees increasingly modern and efficient service, as in the case of the Tresca Chairlift in Pampeago or the new lift access portals on the Obereggen front. Also important was the work to extend the Residenza slope at Pampeago to make the experience of skiing at the foot of the Latemar dolomite even more impressive with no less than 50 kilometers of slopes.
But when it comes to adrenaline, it is difficult to equal the charge of pathos that the parallel slalom challenges on the Toler slope in Obereggen will be able to give: for the entire season it will be possible to challenge each other and then download the video thanks to the SkiMovie system, while along the Tresca slope in Pampeago a new 300-meter boardercross has been set up that will guarantee a fun and interactive experience thanks also to the games positioned along the track.
Alongside the interesting novelties is totally confirmed the rich proposal guaranteed by the many refuges distributed in the Ski Area that last winter greeted the arrival of In.Treska and its breathtaking panoramic terrace. A new entry that has made it possible to expand even more the food and wine offer of the Ski Center Latemar, which can count on a total of fifteen mountain huts and refuges at high altitude capable of enhancing the flavors of mountain cuisine and tradition with unmissable insights into gourmet reinterpretation.

In addition to the slopes and the confirmation of night skiing on the Obereggen slope, the offer of the Ski Center Latemar includes the 2.5-kilometer toboggan run of the same name, which in turn is illuminated to fully enjoy the fun in the evening hours (Tuesdays and Fridays from 7 to 10 p.m.) as well as the nearby Snowpark that allows snowboarders and freeskiers to chase the right amount of adrenaline as much in the sunlight as under the stars. There are a total of four toboggan runs in the Ski Area, a list that also includes Absam, in the Laner locality in Obereggen, the Gardoné slope in Predazzo and the Pampeago toboggan run.
The snow of the Ski Center Latemar also makes it possible to ski in the heart of one of the world’s highest art parks, RespirArt, with its 23 works to be admired on skis along the Agnello slope and its variant and included in the broader RespirArt project, which has a total of 37 installations inextricably inspired by nature and its becoming.
Among the most coveted attractions for children and families is the Alpine Coaster Gardoné: just a few steps from the uphill season of the gondola lift that climbs from Predazzo, all you have to do is sit down and buckle up to have fun along the 980 meters of the monorail bobsleigh designed among jumps, bumps and parabolics.
Ski Center Latemar can be reached from Pampeago, Obereggen or directly from the jump stadium in Predazzo, departure of the Gardoné Gondola lift.

Alpe Cermis
A balcony supported by the porphyry of the Lagorai that looks out 360 degrees over the Dolomites and the entire Eastern Alps. This is Alpe Cermis, a true white paradise for all ages, with its slopes ranging from the 2,200 meters of Paion to the 850 meters at the bottom of the valley, the arrival point of the legendary Olimpia 3 made famous by the Tour de Ski – the main event of the cross-country World Cup season for the past fifteen years and which ends right on Cermis – and illuminated for night skiing every Wednesday.
Further enriching Alpe Cermis’ offerings, the past few months have brought the replacement of the gondolas on the lift from Cavalese to the intermediate station of Doss dei Laresi after passing through the bottom station of the valley.

If Olimpia in its entirety (7.5 kilometers with more than 1,300 meters of elevation gain) is one of the most spectacular slopes in the Alps, the gastronomic offer proposed on the Alpe Cermis trails is also of a high level, with four refuges and restaurants ranging from the gourmet offer of Lo Chalet in Forcella Bombasel, the Paion Refuge at the summit of Cermis via Baita Grana in Doss dei Laresi and Eurotel in the Cermis locality.
Alpe Cermis can be reached from Cavalese or from the valley floor road by cable car.

Altopiano di Lavazé – Passo Oclini
On the plateau of Passo Lavazé and the nearby Passo Oclini, alpine skiing embraces cross-country skiing and biathlon just as Catinaccio seems to connect with Latemar. The two Dolomite massifs frame this natural amphitheater bordered by Corno Bianco and Corno Nero, the stage for the four slopes of the Passo Oclini / JochGrimm Ski Area. At Lavazè, the snow experience is exalted in all its dimensions between 1800 and 2100 meters above sea level, with more than 80 kilometers of groomed trails for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing and Nordic walking trails, the Greta & Gummer snowpark that invites the little ones to have fun on games, inflatables, an inflatable and bobsled track, and the chance to play in the snow for entire days.
