Fermento in Piazza

From 23 to 26 July 2026, the historic centre of Città Sant’Angelo, one of Italy’s Most Beautiful Villages, will host the 3rd edition of Fermento in Piazza, the craft beer festival that transforms the village’s streets into a meeting place for enthusiasts, the curious and lovers of Italy’s finest brews.

For four evenings, starting at 7.00 pm, the squares and alleyways come alive with tastings, street food, live music and a convivial atmosphere that makes this one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer in Città Sant’Angelo.

The stars of the show are the beers from some of Italy’s most highly regarded craft breweries. The 2026 edition will feature Birra Agricola Hopposti, Ritual Lab, Birra Hibu, Microbirrificio Opperbacco, Birra dell’Eremo, Baffa, Beer Park and Birra Kajana, which will present a wide selection of beers, from classics to the most sought-after specialities, offering a tasting journey dedicated to the quality and creativity of the national brewing scene.

Alongside the beers, there will be food stalls offering local specialities and street food, designed to complement the tastings perfectly, whilst live music will provide the soundtrack to the evenings, creating a lively and engaging atmosphere in the heart of the village.

Strolling through the streets of Città Sant’Angelo during Fermento in Piazza is an experience that combines flavour, conviviality and the discovery of the local area, amidst panoramic views, historic architecture and the charm of one of Abruzzo’s most evocative historic centres.
