Dolomiti Fantasy

Dolomiti Fantasy is the leading festival dedicated to the worlds of fantasy, nerd culture and pop culture in the province of Belluno. The 2026 edition, the seventh, will take place on 30 and 31 May in Parco Lotto in Borgo Valbelluna, set against the spectacular backdrop of the Dolomites.

Launched in 2017, the festival has grown rapidly to become a key event for fans of comics, video games, cosplay and pop culture, attracting visitors from across northern Italy every year. Today, it is one of the most important ‘comics & games’ events in the Belluno area.

The programme offers a rich mix of activities designed for a diverse audience: cosplay contests, a comics area, video games, board games, an art district, live shows and music, with spaces dedicated to families and those curious to explore the world of nerd culture.

The festival takes place in the green surroundings of Parco Lotto, a natural setting that makes the experience even more evocative. Here, the public can immerse themselves in a fantastic atmosphere amongst cosplay characters, artists, themed stands and performances that bring the area to life throughout the weekend.

The poster for the 2026 edition, created by the artist Yarghiza (Maira Ranieri) in collaboration with Smile Creative Agency, captures the festival’s fantasy theme through vibrant colours and dreamlike atmospheres, whilst the event’s historic logo is the work of Dalia Schintu.

Organised by the Castle of Fantasy association together with Pro Loco Trichiana, the Red Phoenix association and the Municipality of Borgo Valbelluna, the festival also offers an opportunity to discover Valbelluna, a region rich in villages, nature and Dolomite panoramas.

With spectacular cosplay, art, music and pop culture, Dolomiti Fantasy is an event that combines entertainment and creativity, transforming Valbelluna for two days into a world where fantasy and reality meet.
