Longiano Week

The Longiano Week returns in 2026 to celebrate its 65th edition, reaffirming its status as one of Romagna’s most beloved and long-running events. For over sixty years, this event has brought the village of Longiano to life with a packed programme of activities dedicated to culture, gastronomy, music and the promotion of local traditions.

From 22 to 26 July, the historic centre of Longiano will be transformed into a vast open-air stage, welcoming residents, visitors and tourists into a festive atmosphere that engulfs every corner of the town. The squares, narrow streets and most picturesque spots of the village will provide the backdrop for shows, concerts, exhibitions and entertainment designed for all ages.

As always, Romagna’s cuisine will be one of the event’s highlights. The Longiano Pro Loco will offer a menu rich in traditional specialities prepared according to local recipes, giving visitors the chance to rediscover the authentic flavours of the local cuisine in a convivial and welcoming atmosphere.

Music will accompany the evenings of Settimana Longianese with concerts, live performances and shows designed to engage a wide range of audiences. There will also be events dedicated to theatre, entertainment and artistic performances, which will help to make the programme of the event even more vibrant.

There will also be plenty of focus on creativity and craftsmanship thanks to the hobbyists’ market, where exhibitors and artisans will showcase original creations, handmade items and artistic works. It’s a chance to stroll among the stalls, meet the creators and discover unique pieces.

Rounding off the programme will be exhibitions and cultural events that celebrate the history and identity of Longiano, a village renowned for its artistic heritage, the Malatesta Castle and the vibrant cultural buzz that characterises it throughout the year.

Longiano Week is much more than just a festival: it is a time for gathering and sharing that brings together different generations in the spirit of tradition and community spirit. An event that continues to evolve whilst keeping the link with its roots alive.
