GroundUp Music Festival Alberobello 2026
From 26 to 28 June 2026, Alberobello will host the GroundUP Music Festival Europe, one of the most eagerly awaited international music events of the Apulian summer. Founded in Miami and having become over the years a benchmark for fans of contemporary jazz, world music and experimental sound, the festival returns to the extraordinary setting of the town of the trulli with three days dedicated to live music, artistic encounters and the discovery of new talent from all over the world.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a symbol of Puglia across the globe, Alberobello offers a unique setting for an event that makes the meeting of cultures, languages and musical styles its hallmark. The festival offers an immersive experience that goes beyond a simple concert, engaging the audience through masterclasses, late-night music sessions, special events and opportunities for dialogue between artists and spectators.
The heart of the event will be the Main Stage set up at Villa Donnaloja, where some of the most interesting figures on the international music scene will take turns performing each evening. The 2026 programme will feature highly acclaimed artists such as Snarky Puppy, Cucciolo Snarky, Mark Guiliana, Anne Paceo, Becca Stevens, Shai Maestro, Gianluca Petrella, Matteo Mancuso, Maria Mazzotta, Vanessa Moreno and many other performers capable of bridging different musical genres and traditions.
Next to the main stage, the picturesque Trullo Sovrano will host a series of more intimate concerts, offering the audience the chance to enjoy exclusive performances in one of Alberobello’s most iconic venues. These events will foster a direct dialogue between musicians and spectators, highlighting the festival’s most authentic and participatory aspects.
Since its inception, the GroundUP Music Festival has stood out for its ability to break down barriers between artists and the public, promoting a shared experience based on curiosity, listening and cultural exchange. Each edition represents a journey through sounds ranging from jazz to Brazilian music, from Mediterranean influences to contemporary experimentation.
In addition to concerts, the festival will offer workshops, masterclasses and talks for musicians and enthusiasts wishing to explore the technical, creative and professional aspects of the music world. The famous Midnight Sessions will round off the programme, offering moments of improvisation and artistic collaboration that are one of the event’s defining features.
Set amongst the trulli, squares and unique vistas of Alberobello, the GroundUP Music Festival 2026 is set to be an unmissable event for anyone who loves live music and wants to enjoy an international cultural experience in one of southern Italy’s most charming destinations.
