Borgo diVino in Tour
From 21 to 23 August 2026, the charming village of Fiumefreddo Bruzio will host a new stop on the Borgo diVino in Tour, the travelling wine festival organised by the association ‘I Borghi più Belli d’Italia’. For three days, one of Calabria’s most fascinating historic centres will be transformed into a journey dedicated to discovering wine, culinary excellence and local traditions.
Overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea and listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of Italy, Fiumefreddo Bruzio offers an extraordinary setting for an event celebrating Italian wine culture. Picturesque alleyways, historic squares and breathtaking views will provide the ideal backdrop for tasting some of the finest regional and national wines, offering an experience that combines taste, culture and local heritage.
Borgo diVino is designed to appeal to both wine enthusiasts and those who simply wish to spend a pleasant evening discovering new flavours. Visitors will be able to taste wines from various Italian regions, meet producers and gain an in-depth understanding of the characteristics of the grape varieties that reflect the country’s extraordinary wine heritage.
The wines will be accompanied by culinary specialities from the Calabrian region, served in a dedicated food area where visitors can sample local produce and explore intriguing pairings between wine and local cuisine. This is an opportunity to showcase Calabria’s finest food and drink and promote the region’s artisanal products.
One of the most appreciated aspects of the event is its educational nature. Borgo diVino offers an informative trail featuring themed panels that guide visitors on a journey of discovery through the world of wine, explaining aspects of production, tasting and food pairings in a simple and engaging way. An experience accessible to all, even those approaching wine culture for the first time.
The event also offers an ideal opportunity to visit Fiumefreddo Bruzio and explore its historical and cultural heritage. Strolling through the village’s streets, visitors can admire historic buildings, panoramic terraces and views that make this one of the most charming spots on Calabria’s Tyrrhenian coast.
With its wine tastings, cultural activities, local specialities and sea views, Borgo diVino in Tour remains one of the most eagerly awaited events of the summer, showcasing the region through its finest offerings and providing visitors with an authentic experience centred on conviviality and the good life.
