Zattaglia Wild Boar Festival

The Zattaglia Wild Boar Festival returns from 14 to 18 May 2026 in the Brisighella area, offering five days of festivities set against the natural backdrop of the Romagna Apennines. It is one of the most eagerly awaited food and wine events of the spring, where tradition, flavour and conviviality come together in an authentic and engaging atmosphere.

The undisputed star of the event is the wild boar, featured in a host of traditional recipes that showcase local flavours. From handmade tagliatelle with wild boar ragù and polenta, to stews, sausages and grilled specialities, every dish is prepared with passion by volunteers, in full respect of Romagna tradition. All accompanied by excellent local wines, such as Sangiovese, perfect for enhancing every course.

The festival is not just about food: over the weekend, the village and its surroundings come alive with live shows, music and entertainment for all ages. An experience designed for families, groups of friends and festival enthusiasts.
