Comacchio Half Marathon

The Comacchio Half Marathon returns on Saturday 9 May 2026 in the picturesque setting of Comacchio, offering a unique sporting experience amidst nature, history and breathtaking landscapes in the heart of the Po Delta Park.

The main race, covering the official distance of 21.097 km, is a FIDAL-sanctioned competitive event that takes participants along a spectacular route: from the Comacchio Marshes, a natural habitat rich in wildlife and picturesque scenery, to the historic centre with its canals and characteristic alleyways, passing through Porto Garibaldi with its fishing boats, before running alongside the Adriatic Sea before returning to the town.

Alongside the half marathon, the programme offers various initiatives designed to involve everyone:

• Comacchio 10 KM competitive race, for those looking for a shorter but more intense challenge
• Comacchio 10 KM fun run, open to walkers, fitwalkers and Nordic walkers
• Prolife Dogs & Run (1.5 km), a fun “six-legged” race for those who want to share the experience with their dog

The 10 km route offers a chance to experience the valleys up close, amidst flamingos and traditional fishing boats, before returning to the charm of the historic centre.
