Mambrotta Sparasi Festival

The Mambrotta Asparagus Festival returns from 22 April to 3 May 2026 in the hamlet of Mambrotta, celebrating one of the most iconic produce of the Lake Garda region: local asparagus, a symbol of tradition and quality.

For over a century, this festival has paid tribute to an agricultural delicacy introduced in the late 19th century, which has since become a central feature of the local culinary culture. Mambrotta asparagus, prized for its delicate flavour and versatility, is at the heart of numerous traditional recipes.

During the festival, food stalls offer a wide variety of asparagus-based dishes, allowing visitors to discover all the nuances of this prized vegetable. From the simplest to the most elaborate preparations, each dish reflects the connection between the land, seasonality and cuisine.

The event is also a time for socialising and conviviality, bringing the community together and welcoming visitors from across the province of Verona. With good food, tradition and a festive atmosphere, the Sagra dei Sparasi is an unmissable event of the Venetian spring.
