The Church of St. Francis is one of Alatri’s historical gems, built by the Franciscan order in the second half of the 13th century. The structure retains its original façade with a pointed arch portal and a rose window with radial columns, evidence of medieval architectural aesthetics.

Inside, however, the interior was transformed during the 17th century, adopting a Baroque style but retaining its historical and artistic importance.
