Located in the heart of Alatri, Lazio, Palazzo Gottifredo è a historic monument of rare beauty erected in the 13th century at the behest of the nobleman Gottifredo Raynaldi, cardinal proto-deacon and wealthy feudal lord of the area.
Today, the palace represents an important cultural center of the city, hosting inside it the Civic Museum divided into different sections.
