Church of San Lorenzo

The church of San Lorenzo is located in Castiglione Falletto, in Piedmont, the Langhe. The first core grew up around a chapel which now no longer exists) located in the vicinity of the country, dedicated to San Lorenzo, considered by the documents of the sixteenth century parish church. This church, built in Romanesque style in 1893 was restructured with neogothic lines and decorated in the interior by the brothers Finati, painters Alba. In the lateral altar of Sant’Andrea preserves a blade Oval eighteenth-century attributed to the painter of Bra Peter Paul covered and depicting the Immaculate Conception, S. Andrea and S. Francis.
