The spotlight is on the slow tourism, that which characterizes a form of leisure increasingly moreù appreciated and shared throughout Italy. Strolling through the narrow medieval alleyways of the many Italian villages with ancient traditions, enjoying the unique landscapes of our peninsula, savouring a good glass of wine or a typical dish of the area you are visiting:  good habits to be preserved and encouraged.

And’ precisely with this goal, make more and more attractive and attractive tourism in small towns, that the Parliament has approved the Law on small municipalities.  Of the 5. 567 villages d’Italia, where  live more than 10 million Italians, will be applied measures to encourage the’arrival of broadband, for the recovery and maintenance of historic centers, for the’energy efficiency and promotion of local food production to short chain.

A leap in the contemporaneityà for a value of 100 million euro, allocable until 2023 and destined in the territories most in difficultyà the mountain areas, earthquake-affected with less than 5 thousand residents.

An ambitious idea of Italy passes also through the right enhancement of territories, communities and talents.

A law supported and strongly desired since the beginning by Legambiente; president Rossella Muroni said:  “At last, Italian villages have the tools to help create an ‘Italy system’ able to improve the qualityà of life of citizens and generate competitiveness”.
