Located on the first floor of the palace that was once the residence of the Bishops of Sarsina until 1976 (currently, after the creation of the Diocese of Cesena-Sarsina, Bishop resides in Cesena), the museum develops along four environments “thematic” that collect a significant collection of sacred vestments, liturgical objects and paintings, mostly from the territories forming part of the area of jurisdiction of the former diocese of Sarsina, saved from degradation, from vandalism and theft, here frequently hospitalized for the ruin of those Churches and those speakers no longer involved, which constituted the furnishings; example is the wonderful collection of ancient bells cast in bronze which however has not yet found its own proper placement within the structure.
