The church of San Leone is ascribable to the romanesque period and mature to early gothic calabrese. Of this period remains the campanile hexagonal in plan with Romanesque mullioned windows. The exterior is characterized by the beautiful portal sixteenth-century placed in the main prospect, run by the principles Sanseverino. In the same century is the lateral portal, carved in limestone by local stonemasons.
The inside is in baroque style and divided into three naves. On the vault of the nave there are frescoes depicting four episodes of the Old Testament, which the Sacrifice of Abraham, Judith and Holofernes, The Good Shepherd and the Coronation of the Virgin Mary.
