Founded in 1007 by Tedaldo di Canossa, grandfather of the famous Matilde, the monastery of Polirone in San Benedetto Po is a complex of three cloisters: the Seculars’ one, San Simeon’s one and San Benedetto’s. From the first cloister, crossing the scenographic Barberinian staircase there’s the Polirone’s Civic Museum.
