Located at the square of mesu idda (in the middle of the viilage), the original nucleus of the house which zia Cramella (aunt Carmela) was the penultimate owner, is the end of the Nineteenth Century. Around 1920 were added a kitchen and some rooms above, which were connected to the ground floor through a wooden staircase. In 1945 was built a second kitchen and a bedroom upstairs.
The main theme is constituted by the furniture and the environment from the traditional life and economy. Is articulated in 4 halls where they have been placed the tools for working wood, for agriculture, breeding, the preparation of foods for long-term preservation, derived from the pig, sheep and goat farming and cattle.
In the attic, on staulu farzu (false attic), were placed the food supplies for the entire year. The rooms of the house are furnished with furniture, objects and instruments that will reconstruct the original function. Particularly interesting is the corner dedicated to the production of bread, with La Macina asinaria and the flour-sifters. There are architectural barriers.
The house-museum offers a glimpse of life typical Sadalese until about 1950. The strong piece consists in S’Assargiu, a craft way to light the fire, composed by the lock in iron, the flint (quartz) and a container of horn (sa corriesca) where is the bait (ferrule of coal or dung of horse).
