The Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park is located in the Eastern Alps (Dolomites Eastern Trentino) around the catchment areas of the Cismon, Vanoi and Travignolo torrents, including the Val Venegia, the Paneveggio Forest and a large portion of the Pale Group of San Martino.
The Pale di San Martino Group is one of the nine mountain ranges recognized by Unesco, a World Heritage Site.
The Park, mainly in mountain territory, covers an area of 19,717.46 hectares, with altitudes above 1500 meters.
